Ample space, fast cleaning: the stainless steel oven compartment has a usable capacity of up to 40 litres and can therefore accommodate large cooking containers – for example, for whole chickens or fish. This means you can cook complete menus for 8 to 10 people – with more freedom and convenience. As well as providing ample space, the oven compartment is completely rustproof and very easy to clean.

Cooking for the whole family: the new oven compartment of the Miele steam oven with DualSteam allows you to cook large quantities of food at the same time and serve it when it is perfectly cooked. Thanks to the 40-litre oven compartment, you can place one large or two small cooking containers on each of the three levels. This gives you plenty of room to cook for lots of people with ease.
External steam generation
Innovative steam system: unlike other systems, the steam is generated outside the oven compartment in our appliances. During the cooking process, the incoming steam completely fills the oven compartment and displaces the oxygen. This results in fast heating and optimum temperature measurement and preserves the natural colour of the food. And because limescale cannot build up in the oven compartment, cleaning is particularly easy.

Perfection to suit personal tastes: as the ideal complement to the oven and hob, the Miele steam oven ensures perfect cooking results. You can even cook entire menus comprising multiple courses in one go. Automatic keeping warm function
At the end of the cooking time, food is automatically kept warm for up to 15 minutes without loss of quality. So it does not matter if you are a few minutes late.

Steam reduction
Shortly before the end of the cooking process, the door is opened slightly to allow the steam to escape in a controlled manner. This means that there will be no hot steam coming out of the oven when you remove the food – for extra safety when cooking.
